Hey Everyone! So, I'm going into my junior year in High School, and I'm very interested in MIT for when I start looking at colleges (I'm from Massachusetts, I like the Math and Sciences). I currently have a 3.9 weighted GPA, but I plan on that going up A LOT in my upcoming junior year. Here's what I did my sophomore year of note: 5 on my AP United States History Exam 790 on my United States History SAT Subject Test. - I'm a three sport varsity Cross Country and Track athlete (2nd best on my team, very good on the state level) - I'm running for class president next year - I'm going to help campaign for my Congressman in November - I'm involved in a student run volunteer project at the local hospital Here's my schedule for my upcoming junior year: AP Biology AP Chemistry Honors English Honors Precalculus AP Statistics AP World History AP Microeconomics/Macroeconomics (self-study) (I'm skipping a year of french this year because i already speak it fluently and I want to make room for Chemistry, and taking up AP french next year). Now, I know I don't have any SAT scores yet (because I haven't taken it yet), but I assume I'll do very well. Is there anything I can start doing now to preparing for the SAT (maybe focusing in the vocabulary section)?
